Awards for European retailers
German-Austrian dealer group Tschann Nutzfahrzeuge has been named “DAF International Dealer of the Year 2023” at the DAF International Dealer Meeting in Sitges, Spain. Tschann Nutzfahrzeuge distinguishes itself by offering a high level customer experience in all areas. “This is why the dealership deserves to win in 2023,” says Richard Zink, Director of Marketing and Sales and member of the Board of Directors at Daf Trucks.
Every January, DAF presents prizes to its top dealers. Some receive awards for outstanding customer satisfaction and others for exceeding growth expectations, business performance, new or used truck sales, financial services, or parts. The outstanding dealer in all areas receives the “Global Distributor of the Year” award from Duff.

At this year’s DAF International Dealer Meeting, major dealers in financial services and spare parts supply were also rewarded.
Gerrit Jan Baas, Managing Director of PACCAR Financial Europe, has named DAF UK dealer Ford & Slater as “PACCAR Global Financial Dealer of the Year” for exceeding new truck sales targets and target financial results for PACCAR. “PACCAR Financial’s great products and services help clients increase efficiency and profitability. Ford & Slater are experts in providing tailored PACCAR Financial services that benefit clients’ businesses.”
Dick Lake, General Manager of PACCAR Parts Europe, praised DAF’s Polish dealer Firma Wanicki for significantly expanding the dealer network and spare parts availability, allowing customers to maximize uptime. The Polish dealer has been named “International PACCAR Parts Dealer of the Year”. Lake commented, “Wanicki is looking to the future, just as a successful PACCAR parts dealer should. Therefore, they are now taking the next step with the installation of the first PACCAR superchargers in Poland, and they have started offering customers zero-emissions parts, Even for commercial electric vehicles.”
