Sweden is on the list of 116 new countries advised by the US State Department against travel. The reason is that the countries on the list are determined to spread the infection at “level 4”, i.e. “highest level of Govt-19”.
The list also includes the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Mexico, Finland, Spain and Italy.

The Foreign Ministry already has 34 countries on its list. In total, Americans today are encouraged to travel to 150 countries.
Swedes are advised against traveling to the United States
For many countries, such as China and Japan, the spread of the disease is determined to be “Level 3”, which is why Americans are asked not to travel to those countries.
However, these are recommendations and do not prohibit Americans from traveling to the countries concerned.
On March 14, 2020, the Swedish Foreign Ministry decided to advise all countries against unnecessary travel in the wake of the outbreak.
Since then, the suggestion for unnecessary trips per person has been removed Many European countries. For other parts of the world, including the United States, the State Department’s advice now applies until May 31.
