The Norwegian Directorate of Health selects the nodule screening tool for its national experiment

The Norwegian Health Directorate has purchased the nodule platform for screening in helsnorge.no, The national entry point for residents of Norway when seeking care.

The Health Directorate together with the E-Health Directorate and the Norwegian Health Network SF purchased a screening device for doctors and surgeries in Norway and chose Doctrin.

The Norwegian Directorate of Health requested a solution that would improve accessibility for vulnerable groups, increase the quality of care, support accessibility and contribute to cost-effective services. The beta version will start in April 2021 and will run until December 31, 2022.

One of the goals of the pilot program is to increase patient focus by enabling the population to become more active in the processes and decisions related to their care. Much emphasis is also placed on a screening tool that is adapted to the working methods of care personnel by offering functions for history, planning, and prioritization.

Doctrin is currently performed in nearly 250 clinics, mainly in primary and tertiary care, including in leading caregivers such as Capio and Praktikertjänst. In total, nearly 2,000,000 patient cases are treated on the platform annually and are used in Norway by Volvat and EUC in the Czech Republic.
