Today, Comic Con Stockholm opens its doors

Today, Comic Con Stockholm opens its doors to visitors. This is the fair’s tenth year since its premiere in Sweden in 2014. In this regard, the event is moving to twice the building space in Stockholmmasan and organizers are expecting a record number of visitors and exhibitors. The Minister of Culture will also visit the exhibition on the opening day.

Comic Con has been running since 2014 in Sweden, and over the years the show has created a platform and community for tens of thousands of fans young and old in Malmö, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Stockholm. The event attracts more than 30,000 visitors to Stockholm’s Kistamässan annually, and in recent years interest in Comic Con has increased so much that the last two editions have been sold out. This year, with Stockholmmasan as a base, the number of visitors could more than double.

-This year’s event will be the biggest we’ve done. With more than double the size of the Stockholm fair, we can invest more in everything we could have imagined before, and we can’t wait to be able to open the doors on Friday, says Christian Coleman Nakamoto, Comic Con Nordic project manager.

The interest of both exhibitors and visitors at this year’s Comic Con Stockholm has never been greater. There will be more than 110 exhibitors, including major entertainment companies such as Nintendo, Asus, Warner Bros Discovery, Paramount, Funko and Swedish gaming studio Starbreeze, and tickets for Saturday are already sold out.

The Hollywood strike is causing this

A popular feature among visitors to Comic Con Stockholm is meeting the famous actors. At this year’s event, visitors will be able to meet the world-famous actor Elijah Wood bStealing The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Cast Erin Moriarty And Karen Fukuhara From the series Boys and Stephen Amell Who starred in the popular TV series The Arrow. Swedish stars at Comic Con
