Cloud’s epic adventure continues in the 2020 sequel “Final Fantasy VII Remake,” where things look different than the original.
However, the show was revealed with a big reveal, that the sequel is long overdue “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” It will be released in early 2024 – along with a really tasty trailer.
The game is the second part of the two-layer remake of the classic “Final Fantasy VII” from 1997, the first part of which was released for the Playstation 4 about three years ago.
A fun detail is that for some reason the game was released on two discs, like the original from 1997 was stored on three.
“Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” picks up where its predecessor left off, as we learn that things won’t always happen exactly as in the original. Maybe one famous character can survive this time and others die? This time around, it also looks like we’ll be exploring some larger areas, in search of the evil Sephiroth and in battling the evil organization Shinra.
Unlike its predecessor, “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” will only be released for Playstation 5 in 2024 and possibly also for PC sometime in the future.
