The horror continues in the sequel “Alan Wake” from 2010, this time starring.
It will be released this fall “Alan Wake 2”which is the sequel to the more than ten-year-old horror game by the Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment (“Max Payne”, “Control”).
Unlike its predecessor, you not only play as the mentally unstable horror writer Alan Wake, but Police Officer Saga Anderson (Think directly of the Saga from the Swedish-Danish TV series “Bron”).
Now Remedy takes us behind the scenes as we learn more about the new main character, as they talk about the game’s theme of bisexuality. In the trailer, we learn that Anderson will be investigating the town of Bright Falls, while Alan (who is also playable) is stuck in a nightmare world.
In 2021, “Alan Wake Remastered” is released where we get a sweeter version of the first game, which is about the author’s attempt to find his missing wife while the events of his latest book are brought to life.
Personally, I’ve never played Alan Wake, but I’m definitely dying to, given how much I love the old “Max Payne” and 2019’s David Lynch-scented “Control.”
“Now, AMC, the wonderful and wonderful home of absolutely fantastic TV shows, has bought the rights and our collaboration to make it happen,” Sam Lake, chief creative officer of Remedy, said in a video update.
“Alan Wake 2” It was released for PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. On the 17th of October.
