Asus has released a redesigned tablet with a really cool design

In collaboration with technology design firm Acronym, Asus has released a limited edition ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet.

Calling the Asus ROG Flow Z13 a tablet is an understatement. Admittedly, you can use it to lie down and play in bed with the touch screen. But you can also attach it to a keyboard, mouse or game controller! Inside, it can be equipped with an Intel Core i9 processor, an Nvidia Geforce graphics card, a 4K display, 16GB of memory, and 1TB of storage! This is a serious gaming machine!

However, it does not stand out much in terms of appearance. It’s a black box with a small grille and red accents, much like other gaming laptops. Asus wants to change that now in a new collaboration with Acronym, which has designed technology products for many large companies. For this project, they pulled the trigger and hired Phil Saunders, who is known for designing the iconic Iron Man suit.

They’ve redesigned the Asus ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 with a CNC-milled aluminum chassis, rubber grips, protected corners, tasteful design elements, and an exciting carrying system where the chassis is “its own bag” with carrying straps that snap into the corners. We are now talking about a cool gaming PC that makes people turn around!

Acronym co-founder Errolson Hugh comments:

The RMTO2 design idea seeks to make a new proposal. We try to reimagine how users interact with the world around them, along with their devices, and do things in a new way.

Inside, the Asus ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 has an Intel Core i9-13900H processor, upgraded to Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 graphics card, plus a MUX switch for better performance with external graphics cards. For example Asus XG Mobile with Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090! The screen features a 165Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, and Gorilla Glass for scratch protection.
