TT recently reported that small-scale modular reactors (SMRs) are seen as a way to solve the UK’s energy crisis and can contribute to meeting the country’s climate targets. And many other countries are thinking the same way, reports Dagens PS.
10 percent reduction in nuclear power generation globally. But after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, nuclear power has come to the fore again. But while large traditional nuclear power plants are expensive and complicated to operate, SMRs are precisely small and modular, which brings big advantages, writes Dagens PS.
