It looks like the much-anticipated TV version of the popular game will be released in January.
It’s already known that “The Last of Us,” the long-awaited TV version of the game of the same name, will release sometime in 2023. Now it looks like the series will premiere earlier than most people expected, just weeks after the end of the year.
HBO Max itself appears to have inadvertently revealed the date of the premiere, which many fans have noticed on social media. Regarding a teaser clip for the series, on the streaming service’s website and in the app, it can be read that “The Last of Us” will premiere in January 15.
In September, the first trailer for “The Last of Us” was released, and the plot of the film will be mainly based on the first two games. Bella Ramsay and Pedro Pascal play Ellie and Joel, who are trying to survive in a world where a deadly fungal virus has wiped out large parts of humanity.
