The concentrated pink light should illuminate and be visible from the highway.
– Thanks to the 833 square meters of solar panels on the Essity rooftop, we can light the house in a sustainable way. We want to break down barriers to well-being and contribute to a healthy, sustainable and revolving society. Not least by drawing attention to “Pink October” and the Cancer Foundation’s important work in the fight against breast cancer, says Malin Hermann, head of communications at Essity Norden, in a press release.
The Cancer Foundation’s Rosa Bandet campaign kicks off every October. The purpose of the campaign is to raise funds for research, dissemination of knowledge about cancer and how to reduce the risk of developing it, and to influence decision makers.
Since 2003, the Cancer Foundation has distributed a total of more than 1 billion kroner to research related to breast cancer.
