Police Knocked – After Buying Wish | esports

Felix Kjellberg, better known as “Pewdiepie,” has been one of YouTube’s biggest stars for a decade. There, the 32-year-old Swede presents, among other things, his television games in front of 111 million subscribers.

In the last video, he said that he received a police visit recently due to the content of his video.

Before that, he had decided in one of his videos to order things from the popular app Wish, he writes Dexerto. Among the items he bought was Balisong – or “butterfly knife”.

This was noticed by the police, who suddenly knocked on the house of the Swedish star. It turned out to be an illegal purchase.

– I had a great idea to try and buy a balisong. Because I love them, they are fun to play with. They are tough too. But don’t. Don’t buy a balisong, says Pewdiepie.

Believes in cultural differences

The Swede thinks it may have something to do with a culture clash, with similar butterfly knives being seen as a “tool in Sweden”, but more problematic in the UK where he now lives.

He says the police reprimanded him and she was shocked by the visit. Purchasing similar knives does not go against Wish’s own regulations, although it is an illegal purchase.

Pewdiepie did not clarify whether the purchase would mean any penalties for him.
