A British-Iranian woman held captive in Iran will be released because Britain has repaid unpaid debt, Iranian television reports.
However, this information has not been confirmed by the UK and according to some British reports, the Iranian information is not accurate.
Iranian sources say Nassan’s Jakari-Radcliffe will be released “after military payments”. The release comes in exchange for தற்கு 400 million paid by the British.
Zakari-Radcliffe, who is being held in Iran, was sentenced last week to another year in prison, his lawyer said.
He is now accused of “spreading propaganda against the organization” during a protest outside the Iranian embassy in London in 2009.
After a meeting with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on January 23, 2020, journalist Nason’s Jaggery-Radcliffe husband Richard Radcliffe and daughter Gabriella and mother-in-law Barbara speak to reporters.

He has already served five years in an Iranian prison
Nassan Zakari-Radcliffe has already served five years in prison in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He was convicted after being accused of plotting to overthrow the Iranian government. He, his supporters and human rights groups both deny the allegations.
He was arrested in 2016 at the airport in Tehran while working for the Thomson Reuters Foundation – News Agency Foundation Division. He was returning home to Britain after the arrival of his family in Iran.
Do Iran and the United States agree on the exchange?
According to the pro-Iranian television channel Al-Mayadeen in Lebanon, Iran has agreed with the United States on the transfer of prisoners and the release of Iranian assets in the United States.
Again, it is unclear whether the report is true. The United States has not confirmed this information.
Iran will agree to release four Americans accused of spying in exchange for the release of four Iranians detained in the United States. In addition, a total of $ 7 billion worth of frozen Iranian assets will be released.
According to Iranian data, countries such as South Korea, Iraq and China have frozen $ 20 billion worth of Iranian oil assets since 2018 under US sanctions against Iran.

The nuclear deal is back in focus
There is now little effort to re-establish the nuclear deal since 2015. The United States abandoned the agreement three years ago.
The nuclear deal was signed by Iran and the permanent members of the UN Security Council. The idea was to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons in exchange for lifting international sanctions.
Iran has promised to reduce its uranium enrichment and has given the IAEA the right to conduct unannounced inspections in the country to verify compliance with the agreement.
Iran began violating the agreement following former US President Donald Trump’s decision to pull out of the deal in 2018, after which new sanctions were imposed against Iran.
Both the United States and Iran have begun to show interest in the deal. The United States has indicated it is ready to return to the Iran deal after Joe Biden became president.
