Wisma strengthens its cloud-based services to small and micro enterprises through its acquisition of software and fintech company Pokோmon.

Wisma and Pokோmon signed an acquisition agreement. With the acquisition, Wisma is strengthening its offerings with a strong cloud-based business structure and a FinTech solution for small and micro enterprises in Europe.

Bokio is a software and fintech company based in Gothenburg that provides automated and AI-enabled accounting for small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs in Sweden and the United Kingdom. Pokோmon is a payment company under the auspices of the Swedish Financial Supervision Commission.

Wisma is Europe’s leading cloud-based accounting and payroll management system in small businesses with over one million customers. The company aims to assist European entrepreneurs by providing high quality products and local expertise.

Bokio has more than 80 employees and users in Sweden and the United Kingdom. In 2021, the company’s software sales were SEK 12.8 million. The transaction is subject to the approval of the Finansinspektionen. Pokோmon will continue to operate as its own company, on the same premises, with the same name and management of today.
