A few days ago, VMWare launched its new Fusion 13 Pro, which allows you to run Windows on Intel and Silicon Macs. The big news is that you can now run Windows 11 in a stable manner and with all the functions you would expect.
Fusion 13 Pro also introduces a TPM 2.0 virtual engine designed with Windows 11 in mind. This device stores content in an encrypted part between files to secure TPM functionality. The encryption password is also stored in your regular macOS keychain so that you don’t have to type it in every time you start up the virtual machine.
The Fusion 13 Pro normally costs $199 but is currently $139 due to a launch promotion. There is also a cheaper version called Fusion 13 Player, which normally costs $149 but is currently $99, but only supports the Arm version of Windows 11.
A trial version is also available if you just want to see if it makes sense.
