Returpack has chosen the Payers site as a payment company to bring the deposit system into the new and digital era.
The new digital payment solution is now being rolled out across the country at Rterbeck’s own large ATMs, the Pandamera Express.
Since the 1980s, Swedes have made the pilgrimage to hand over their cans and bottles to the country’s pound brokers. Ritterback, the company that introduced the deposit system, now handles 2 billion cans and bottles each year.
Returpack 2019 selected Payers As a partner in the digitalisation of the deposit solution payment solution of the deposit system, the company has now developed a technology platform that makes it possible to launch tests and publishing across the country.
Payment in a bank account
88% of all bottles and cans sold in Sweden today are pledged and recycled through Ritterback’s pledge system.
Ritterback works to build the system continuously to facilitate and increase soldier availability. Part of the renewal is that the mortgage can be paid in many ways rather than being through a traditional mortgage receipt. Digital transfer directly to your own bank account provides a flexible solution and follows the growth of digitization in the community.
Returpack enabled This solution In own large ATMs, Pandamera Express. A trial is planned in conjunction with the grocery trade, after which a decision is made as to whether further implementation will take place.
– Soldier Camera Express machines are an important part of our development work around the future Soldier system. Here we have the opportunity to test the new digital payment solution on a large scale and now offer a secure, simple and flexible service for transferring deposit money directly to a bank account, says Carita Clausen, Product Manager, Rutterback / Pandamera.
Internet-Off-Things – The connection between the pound broker and the mobile app
Payers Chosen to create a digital payment solution machine directly in the consumer bank account. The solution works in conjunction with the pound broker, cloud and mobile application. The new Pandamera app is available for both iOS and Android. Already two months later, the app has been downloaded 20,000 times.
Before using the app for the first time, the bank account is linked by the user with the mobile bank ID. It takes less than 1 minute to complete. After Boun Broker pours into his jars and PET bottles on the Pandamera Express, Boun Broker scans the QR code with the mobile app to complete the transaction.
The first phase will include Rutterback’s 57 self-owned large ATMs, the Pandamera Express. These are located in major recycling centers across the country. By 2020, 90 million packages had been ordered via the Pandamera Express.
During the pilot phase, more than 25% of users have opted for the digital solution. Returpack believes that sweaters that know the app will increase quickly. The digital solution is a complement to the paper receipt.
– Payer is highly responsive to our preferences and we always believe they have provided a sustainable and secure solution for our digital advancement, says Henrik Oskarson, Development Manager, Ritterback / Pandamera.
– We are incredibly proud of Bayer for giving us the confidence to create the next generation payment solution in the Swedish deposit system. An organization in which all Swedes have a relationship and contribute. Beder Berg, Bayer’s CEO and Founder, says that when you make a deposit, it’s easier to get consumer money directly into the account.
