The Call of Duty League has now left Europe – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

Activision seems to have a big challenge in engaging European audiences with Call of Duty League, at least that’s what the replays and team moves suggest.

After the Paris Legion moved to Las Vegas at the beginning of last season, the London Royal Ravens have now left Europe and instead moved to America, now known as the Carolina Royal Ravens.

It was renamed slightly differently as the team was known as the Royal Ravens due to its location in the host city of the British monarchy, history associated with British royalty and the ravens that reside in the Tower of London. Now, the team owns the Royals area as it moves to Carolina, also considered the Queen City, but for the Ravens area, it feels like grasping at straws right now.

“We are excited to announce that we are taking our Royal Wings to the Queen City, Charlotte, NC. The next chapter of the Royal Ravens will be fueled by the energy, culture and resilience of the Carolinas.

“We want to thank all our London fans. From hosting the first CDL Major for you in 2020 to this moment, your passion for our team and the games we’ve played has been second to none. We’ll always be grateful. It’s been four years of us flying the flag for Britain and you’ve given us Support provided.

“From Britain to the Queen City, we’re all Royal Ravens”.
