Tesla has begun to open a network of its superchargers across Europe. All chargers in the Netherlands have been open to all car brands for some time. Pilot tests are also underway in Norway and France.

The information came in the wake of the British authorities presenting a comprehensive plan to expand the charging infrastructure in the country. Part of that work involves encouraging closed network operators to be accessible to all. One of the operators they spoke to was Tesla.

The United Kingdom will invest SEK equivalent to $ 4.6 billion in charging infrastructure in the coming years. Another half billion will be provided to local electric car specialists, who will work with the expansion of the infrastructure. The goal is to increase the country’s public charging infrastructure tenfold by 2030. I.e. about 300,000 charging points.
