Small but full of functions. Linkbuds S is a pair of headphones with minimal active noise.
In February, Sony has launched a new line with speakers Linkbuds. The first thing that was presented was a strange design, but it is impressive with a toroidal engine that allows the passage of all ambient noise.
Sony is now expanding the series with the more traditional Linkbuds S. The headphones don’t share the design, but agree that they’re lightweight and can be worn for a long time.
It is said that lightness in focus. Sony said that the company itself is Linkbuds S smallest and lightest headphones you can buy and enjoy the active noise reduction (ANC). The stylish headphones weigh 4.8 grams only.
The headphones are based on a new 5mm driver unit and support Sony’s own Adaptive Sound Picture technology, which means they can adjust the volume and transmit the sound to the environment.
How long is the battery life in Linkbuds S?
They will also have new AI-based technology to better pick up your voice during conversations, and a design with protection over the microphones that reduces annoying wind noise when talking on the phone outdoors.
Despite their small size, the headphones do not need to be charged often. The headphones are said to have up to six hours of battery life with active noise reduction turned on and an additional 14 hours of charging time in the case. Five minutes of charging should provide one hour of playing time.
Linkbuds S will be released at the end of May and will cost around SEK 2,000.
