XDA writes about performance issues on the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, with the Exynos 2200. So far, it’s only one report that doesn’t necessarily mean widespread problems for customers.
The author says that his S22 Ultra, which was purchased directly from the Samsung online store in Ireland, fixes performance issues regarding screen unlock, app launcher, and more. The problems must have persisted after a factory reset.
As for my first impressions of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Exynos 2200 so far, they are not good. It’s very slow, and I had the same experience when I set it up brand new without also restoring my apps.
This is shockingly bad. https://t.co/7Rid3cUJjN pic.twitter.com/iXdRPeAlfC

It’s still early days for the S22 Ultra and Samsung should be able to improve streaming with firmware updates. Another confirmed childhood ailment Samsung has commented on is screen dimming under certain circumstances.
Flickering on unlock may occur when the resolution is set to WQHD and natural color reproduction is used. Samsung is working on a solution and flicker can be circumvented for the time being by lowering the resolution or adjusting the panel to show vibrant colors.
If you have Exynos #GalaxyS22Ultra Please check if your device is affected by this error as well.
(Note graphical glitches/artifacts on the lock screen clock.)
Seems to be a widespread issue now.
