Sales of BoKlok’s terraced and semi-detached houses in Forssjö, Katrineholm will start soon

In the picturesque Ragnars Gärde, Forssjö, BoKlok will build a first phase of 26 new terraced and semi-detached houses, with sales starting on Friday 9 September. All those who register their interest on BoKlok’s website are given the opportunity to participate in an open random draw. The draw determines the order in which you choose your new home and excludes bids. The start of construction is planned for the winter of 2022/2023 and occupancy is estimated for the winter of 2023/2024.

– We are very happy to be involved in the development of such a good place as Forssjö and Ragnars gärde. The houses, with wooden facades in different shades of green and gray-white, blend well with the landscape and surrounding buildings. For us, it’s important that our homes fit in and that they contribute more to the local value, says Erki Eilola, Senior Project Manager at BoKlok.

The 26 townhouses and semi-detached houses are built as condominiums and have five rooms of 117 square meters on two floors. All the houses have a spacious rear patio facing southwest. Some houses have balconies built on pillars to accommodate the height differences, while others get balconies and gardens. On the roofs, BoKlok installs solar panels.

– We have a strong focus on sustainability in our projects, and BoKlok’s goal is to become climate neutral by 2030, from the trees in the forest to the lives we live in our customers’ new homes. By building the interior of a factory in wood, it has less impact on the environment and reduces waste. The houses are also energy efficient, and with solar panels on the roofs, the association can also use self-generated electricity, says Erki Aylola.

Ragnars gärde is located six kilometers outside of Katrineholm, close to nature, water and leisure. The BoKlok building neighborhood is called BoKlok Bruket and is located on the lakeside of Bruksvagen, with some views of Forssjösjön. Forssjö already has a preschool, a school, a swimming area and a playground. In the new area, more single-family houses and a new preschool are being built, which according to Katrineholm municipality should be ready by summer 2023.
