Thousands got to make the pilgrimage to the dream bird
Leaf discovered “The Holy Grail” in the morning round.
A few hours later, bird watchers from all over Western Europe came to see Ruby Nightingale.
Now comes the information that Pippin reflects … the sound of the camera.
On November 15 last year, Leaf Eriksson began his daily morning walk in Worcesterland. Vergone He saw an unknown bird 50 meters away from the villa.
– Then it sat on the floor. I went home and took the camera and luckily it flew when I took the pictures, he says.
How many people have come to see the bird?
– Oh, there are many thousands. I took the picture at lunch time, then someone from Umeya got in the car and left immediately. All over Western Europe, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom … they come from all over. There were about a hundred visitors here within hours of me posting.
Ruby Nightingale is said to have started making camera noise, did you hear that?
– No, I’m never heard of any cameras reflecting this. But that is not entirely possible because there are an incredible number of photographers here.
Dream Bird: “The Holy Grail”
Birdlife in Sweden Niklas Aronsson in Sweden does not believe that the bird produces camera sounds.
– This is tricky. There is a recording that hears the shutter noise from the camera, but I would love to hear another recording of the bird with that sound. This bird looks like a bird of paradise in the David Attenborough movie from a forest in New Guinea, he says.
Three days after the discovery he himself saw the bird.
– This is the bird you have been dreaming of seeing since you started watching birds. Many call it the “Holy Grail for Birdwatchers”. This magic, the glitter that surrounds the name Ruby Nightingale. It sounds absolutely amazing.
Ruby Nightingale has only been seen twice in Sweden before. In 2018, it was spotted by about ten bird watchers in an industrial area in Skokel, Wormland.
