MG launched a version of the MG4 with a larger battery that has higher engine power and longer range.
MG’s MG4 mini electric car is a fierce competitor for Volkswagen’s identifier. 3 and, more recently, in a compact version, which is probably Sweden’s cheapest electric car.
Now another variant is being launched, this time with a larger battery and more powder in the engine. The model is called the MG4 Extended Range and has a 77kWh battery, which provides a WLTP range of 520km. That compares to the 64 kWh and 435 km range of the standard model.
Engine power increases From 204 hp (150 kW) to 240 hp (180 kW). This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds.
Charging speed is not impressive. 10 to 80 percent takes 39 minutes.
MG 4 with four-wheel drive and 440 hp
As promised by MG An extreme version of the MG4 will offer all-wheel drive and 440 horsepower.
The MG4 Extended Range has so far only been launched in Great Britain, but it is also expected to arrive in Sweden.
