Three salient points

Curling: Sweden gets two medals in curling

There were two different worlds for the two Swedish teams in the semi-finals on Wednesday and Thursday. The men of the Eden team went to the final and the women of the Hasselburg team took a bronze match.

And on Saturday, the two teams’ matches will be held for the medal. After that, Eden’s team has a chance to snatch their first Olympic gold, including a third medal. Team Haselburg can take its second consecutive Olympic medal.

Eden’s team plays in the morning Sweden time and meets Great Britain. For the Haselburg side playing in the afternoon, Switzerland awaits.

Cross-country skiing: talent gets a chance in the last race

Johann Hagstrom himself chose to give up Saturday’s race, just like Oscar Svensson. Thus, only four Swedish men remained until the five-mile cross-country skiing.

This means that the Swedish national team consists of the following names for Saturday’s competition: Jens Bormann, William Buroma, Kali Halvarsson and Leo Johansson.

The latter, talented Johansson, not only raced in skating at the Olympics, but now he got the chance again. This is along with, among others, William Poromaa who showed off a good morning during the competitions.

Ice Hockey: Favorite Trey Kronor to Bronze

It was a heavy draw in the semi-finals of the Olympics on Friday against the team of the Russian Committee. This is after the match ended 1-1 after 60 minutes, overtime became goalless and “South Korea” won after a penalty shootout.

But already on Saturday afternoon, the team can take revenge. This is when they are satisfied with the bronze medals in a meeting with Slovakia.

The Slovak national team lost to Finland in the second semi-final match on Friday. But earlier in the tournament, as you know, Tre Kronor defeated Slovakia once already. Thus, they get a favourite.
