Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) has sold British content distribution company NENT Studio (formerly DRG) to All3Media. The sale is in line with the NENT Group’s previously stated ambition to focus NENT Studios on text-based content for its Viaplay streaming service, which will be available in at least 15 countries by 2023.
The UK distributor NENT Studio currently distributes more than 10,000 hours of content including high-profile titles such as “Doc Martin”, “The Cry”, “Yorkshire Vet” and “Don’t Tell the Bride”, and develops products Authentic like “near me”.
All3Media is an international television, film and digital production and distribution company consisting of more than 40 companies in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Asia Pacific region and the United States.

under 2020 The NENT Group has announced its intention to reorganize NENT Studios to focus on the text-based production of Viaplay, selling NENT Studios’ real-life production companies, documentaries, branded entertainment and event production.
Financial details of the UK distribution sale to NENT Studio were not disclosed. NENT Group maintains its stake in its jointly owned production company in the United Kingdom with FilmNation Entertainment.
