Several different sources have already suggested a redesign of the iPad mini series iPad mini 6 This year, and now we’ve heard the same thing again, along with an estimate of a possible launch period.
in Bloombergs Power on the newsletter Mark Gurman (who has a good history on Apple info) claimed that the iPad mini 6 will have a design similar to iPad Air (2020), which means no home button and possibly thinner frames.
Gurman reportedly described this as the “biggest redesign in the nine-year history” of the iPad mini series, adding that it would also include the latest processor. It’s not clear exactly what Gurman means by that, as we’d be surprised if it has the M1 chipset found in the iPad Pro (2021)in series, but may contain the A14 Bionic chipset used in iPhone 12Series and iPad Air (2020).
soon
Finally, Gorman said the iPad mini 6 “should be ready” for release in “fall” (which likely means September, October or November).
This is in perfect accordance with what we have I heard before From most sources, so it seems very likely that this is indeed the case, and now that Gurman has reiterated these rumors as well, it appears that nothing has changed on the design or the release date since the previous leaks.
Of course, we’re still not sure about any of this, but it seems very likely that the iPad mini with a new design will be released before the end of the year. This is good news for all fans of small Apple tablets, because iPad mini 5 It was fully released in March of 2019, and it didn’t offer as much of an update as it seems.
