If you thought there were too few ports on your new 24-inch iMac, the Hyper now comes with a new USB-C hub that fits right in your PC.
The iMac 24″ launched in May and not only offered a new design but also several different color options. Hyper has taken advantage of this and has now developed a purchasable USB-C hub in the same color as your iMac. They sell two different models, the HyperDrive 5-in – 1 Hub that contains two USB-C ports (5Gbit/s), two USB-A ports (5Gbit/s) and one USB-A port that supports charging up to 7.5W.
The HyperDrive 6-in-1 Hub has a 4K 60Hz HDMI port, an SD card reader, a microSD reader, a USB-C port (10Gbit/s), a USB-A port (10Gbit/s), and a USB-A port with support for charging up to 7.5W. The hub attaches to the monitor, tightens the wheel at the back, and then connects to one of the USB-C ports on the back. Prices start at $49.99 for the 5-in-1 hub and $79.99 for the 6-in-1 hub and can be purchased directly from Hypers website. It remains to be seen if this bastard finds its way to any Swedish retailers.
