In the United Kingdom, similar measurement services are now being purchased. According to a press release, the Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board, Barb has appointed three different companies; Gander, its sister company Gander-Sifo already owns MMS, and ABC and RSMP.
Among other things, Gander will offer a completely new measurement box for the TV panel, which will be expanded from 5,150 homes to 7,000 homes. Gander gains new confidence in collecting census data for BVOD.
ABC is commissioned to audit the implementation of the tag system that generates large data, which is used as a complement to the group data, while RSMP provides the survey system among others.
In addition to offering linear TV and online video surveys, Barb will expand its survey this year to include streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney Plus.
