Spring is over – then Andreas Alm’s time in Häcken is over. The trainer was purchased by Danish Odense. “Everything went very quickly,” says Häcken’s sports director, Martin Ericsson. Finnish duo Joona Toivio and Jasse Tuominen play in Häcken.
With only two points in six Allsvenskan rounds, Andreas Alm’s future in Häcken has become a hot topic of conversation.
Now the time the 47-year-old has spent at the club is not something to discuss.
According to a press release from Häcken, Pain has been “recruited” by Danish Odense, and it is clear that he will be leaving the club after the short spring season.
“We’ve had some of the club’s best years with Andreas Alm as head coach. Everything went really fast now but there was an opportunity where we could find a solution that would be good for us, Andreas and Odense,” sporting director Martin Eriksson said in the press release.
The deal meant that Alm had two matches in Allsvenskan and the Sweden Cup final against Hammarby on May 30 left in black and yellow before Hisingen left for Denmark.
says Alm, who came to the club before the 2018 season and led Häcken to the Gold Cup in 2019 and then third place in the Allsvenskan 2020.
