About the service
For the office in Visby, we are looking for a corporate lawyer to assist the local team, but generally international operations, with all legal issues arising in day-to-day operations and in relation to the planning or acquisition of new renewable energy projects. Because acquiring assets is a key part of the strategy, this includes “spider webbing” the small and large acquisition processes, including due diligence and contract writing. We hold our assets through a number of subsidiaries and the service includes routine corporate governance, for example drafting protocols and contracts, as well as general corporate legal obligations.

You will report to Orrön Energy’s Head of Sweden, and in addition to the local operations team in Visby, you will be part of a small international legal team, where you will actively participate in the company’s business and be proactive in creating value and mitigating company risks. . You will also work on managing external legal counsel. For us, personal qualities are important, so we want you to be a committed and motivated team player, with business interest, attitude and understanding.
about you
We are looking for you with a law degree and at least five years of relevant legal work experience in a company, law firm or relevant authority. We want you to have previous experience of the key issues affecting our business, including knowledge in the energy area, including permitting issues and lease agreements, and the legal regulations affecting that area. It is also advantageous if you have some experience in commercial law and corporate law. You enjoy working independently and can take personal responsibility in a growth environment. You have the ability to balance accuracy and productivity in your work and can provide practical legal advice and deal with multiple issues simultaneously even under time pressure. You have a structured and solution-oriented way of working and enjoy working in a consultative role. You are expected to have a good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
