Long queues, fights and empty tank. In Britain, the fuel crisis erupted, where the British tried to fill their cars and spare cans to the brim. Many gas stations were closed earlier in the week as fuel ran out. This is not really a shortage of raw materials, but a problem in supplies. Not enough truck drivers. The government’s move includes proposals to help the military and ease the rules so new drivers can start faster.
How can this happen? Whose fault is it, epidemic, Brexit or something else? How will Britain recover from the crisis? We talk about it in today’s Aftonbladet newspaper.
Guest: Nicholas Aylot, Associate Professor of Political Science, University of Soderton.
Editor: Amanda Hemberg Lindt.
