Microsoft has paused the release of pre-release versions of Windows 10 updates for now, possibly for download before a major discovery.
The company says that there will be no more preview releases of Windows 10 21H2 in the near future, which means that users of the software won’t get more news and insights about upcoming features, services and tools.
This news comes tied to high expectations that Microsoft will introduce the next generation of operating systems, likely called Windows 11, at an event on June 24.
Windows 11 running?
Feedback on what may be for a relatively long time reveals that the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview build is one thing and another, among other things, Microsoft announced that the release doesn’t have anything new to be tested, but is instead intended to test the company’s infrastructure before An imminent heavier payload is frightening.
“In the coming weeks, the focus will be on releasing several cumulative updates in addition to version 21390,” according to Microsoft. “Access to Insiders in this development channel test will be very helpful to us and we will release updates as before very soon!”.
The Windows event planned for June 24 should reveal more about the future of Windows and possibly also the upcoming updates and changes that await the interface in Windows.
More and more rumors are saying that Microsoft will release a completely new version of Windows, possibly Windows 11, instead of a major update to the current version.
Microsoft itself says that the new release means some of the most comprehensive updates to Windows in the past decade, but then very little is known, which also explains why they are so careful to make sure nothing leaks.
