Today’s releases Katie Melowa Album ”Album number 8– An album that marks the culmination of the 35-year-old’s musical awakening and contains her most personal lyrics to date.

Here Katie demonstrates how she tries to come to terms with the everyday complexity of love compared to the ones we read about in fairy tales.

This time, Katie was inspired by popular music, to evoke the feeling of that magic hour only when the sun goes down through beautiful string arrangements. The result was her most complex and compelling album.

Katie is one of the UK’s best-selling artists of all time, and the new album is her eighth. During the summer and fall seasons, Katie performed the singles “A Love Like That”, “Airtime”, “Leaving The Mountain” and “Your Longing is Gone”.

The full new movie was filmed in London and this time Katy takes on one of the most rewritten topics in pop history – love. But instead of telling traditional stories with great endings, she wants to show the everyday and complex lives in love and relationships.

Born in Georgia, Katie immigrated with her family to Belfast when she was 8 years old. At the end of the 1990s, the moving truck moved to London and the 36-year-old artist still lives there today.

Katie made her debut album when she was 19 years old with “Call Off The Search” and since then released six more albums that all reached the top ten – “Piece by Piece”, “Pictures”, “House”, “Secret Symphony” and “Ketevan” and the most recent self-produced “In Winter,” which won critical acclaim from 2016. Katie Melua and Kate Bush are the only British artists in history to have had this successful.
