Jabra launches new headphones

Active Elite 8 Generation 2 and Elite 10 Generation 2

One new feature is that the charging case itself can be used as a Bluetooth adapter to a traditional 3.5mm jack.

Jabra has launched the second generation of its flagship headphones: the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and Elite 10 Gen 2. Both are based on the same design as their predecessors but with improvements that will take your audio and streaming experience to the next level.

One of the most special novelties is the charging case itself. The Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and Elite 10 Gen 2 come with the world's first LE audio enclosure that enables wireless streaming from devices with a USB-C or 3.5mm port. The circuitry integrated into the box allows users to connect and stream audio from various devices directly to the headphones, with lower latency and Hi-Fi sound quality.

Both headphones feature improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and up to twice the ANC power as their predecessors. The Elite 10 Gen 2 uses Jabra's advanced ANC technology, while the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 uses Adaptive Hybrid ANC technology. Both offer increased environmental awareness with new Natural HearThrough technology, optimized to reduce wind noise.

The phones get improved call performance thanks to the 2nd generation earbuds with 6-microphone communication technology and AI communication algorithms. The microphones prioritize spoken audio and use effective noise reduction algorithms for clearer conversations.

They also have Dolby Atmos and spatial audio support which should bring a new dimension to the audio experience with improved settings for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos support and benefits for different types of content, including podcasts.
