Harry Kane could miss the chance to face Tottenham for the first time since his move to Bayern Munich last summer.

The striker joined the German giants for a £100m fee after entering the final year of his contract with Tottenham. During his time with the Premier League club, he became a modern-day legend, although he became frustrated with his lack of trophies.

This led to his decision to join Bayern, who had won the past 11 Bundesliga titles. But while Kane excelled and scored 29 goals this season, Bayern suffered a disastrous season.

The team is eight points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the German League, lost to Lazio in the Champions League round of 16 match, and was eliminated from the German Cup by third-tier Saarbrücken in the second round.

Despite this, they remain one of the best teams in Europe and are a big draw when it comes to friendly matches. Plans have already been made for this summer's pre-season, with Tottenham facing Bayern Munich on August 2 in South Korea.

The game is scheduled to be part of the Coupang Play Series tournament, in which both clubs participate. Tottenham usually travel to Asia for their tour due to captain Son Heung-min's star status on the continent.

But while Son's appearance is all but guaranteed, Kane's availability is less certain. This is because the striker will captain England at Euro 2024 this summer, and if they win the title, Kane will likely be given a long break that could see him miss the tour.

News of the reunion with Tottenham comes as Kane's struggles at Bayern escalate. Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that he will leave the club at the end of the season, after a run of three consecutive defeats.
