American Bully XL may be banned in the UK

American Bully XL may be banned in the UK

Last Saturday, an eleven-year-old girl was seriously injured after being attacked by American bully XL. A man died on Thursday after being attacked by a dog suspected to be of the same breed. Last year, there were ten deaths in the UK linked to the strain.

This has caused people to react and support the government’s proposal to ban the dog breed in the country, reports said Watchman.

This is the American Bully XL

The breed they are talking about wanting to ban is called the American Bully XL and is the largest of the various American bully breeds.

Some other variants of the American Bully are the standard, pocket and classic.

The American Bully XL is not accepted as a separate breed in Great Britain, the USA or Sweden.

This breed was created by combining breeds such as the American Pitbull, American Bulldog, English Bulldog, and Amstaff.

Since the American Bully XL is not recognized as a separate breed in the UK, the country’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak now wants it to be done as soon as possible, so that it can then be banned in the country. The task of characterizing the dog breed will be carried out by police officers along with dog experts.

– We will then ban the breed under the Dangerous Dogs Act and it will come into force at the end of the year, says Rishi Sunak in a video shared on X.

– The American Bully XL poses a danger to our societies, especially our children.
