UK Deputy Prime Minister and Attorney General Dominic Raab has resigned after being accused of bullying several staff.

Dominic Raab received two formal complaints last fall, and he approached Prime Minister Rishi Sunak asking for an independent investigation.

Now that the investigation is over, Dominic Raab is resigning as Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister as a result.

“It is my duty to accept the results of the inquiry. I asked if he promised to resign if any bullying was pointed out in the investigation. In my opinion, it is important to keep what I promised,” Rob writes in his resignation letter, which he posted on Twitter.

Rob: The threshold for bullying is very low

According to Dominic Robb, the investigation was one-sided. According to Rabin, the trial sets a dangerous precedent because “the threshold for bullying becomes very low”. He still says he never bullied anyone.

Rob believes he was just a strict and demanding manager.

Robb says the investigation was flawed and all but two bullying allegations were dismissed. According to him, neither incident was considered bullying.

The investigation has not been published, and it is unclear what the two incidents were about.

“Investigation will encourage others to file false complaints against ministers,” Raab writes.

Despite the criticism of the inquiry, the government wishes its work well in the future.

“I still support Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and this government,” he writes in the letter.
