Officially launched: this is the Oppo Find X6 Pro

Oppo has now presented its new flagship Find X6 Pro, and it is betting on taking a big step forward compared to its predecessor, Find X5 Pro.

One really big change is the focus on the camera, where they’re trying to move from the primary camera supplemented by two additional cameras to focusing on three primary cameras. In practice, this means that none of the cameras are seen as complementing the primary cameras, but rather that all three should be classified as primary in their own right. They are all 50 megapixels but there are differences between them. The wide-angle camera uses a one-inch IMX989 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. The ultra-wide camera uses an IMX890 and is 1/1.56″ wide with f/2.2, while the telephoto camera has the same specs but with 3x zoom and optical image stabilization. The front camera uses IMX709 and is 32MP.

The screen is a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3168×1400, 120Hz, Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ support.

Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and depending on the configuration, either 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X working memory and 256 or 512 GB of UFS4.0 storage.

The battery is 5000 mAh with support for 100W charging via cable and 50W wireless charging.

For connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3, and Oppo Find X6 Pro comes with ColorOS 13.1 based on the Android operating system.

If you want to invest in the Oppo Find X6 Pro, however, you may have to wait in vain, as according to Oppo, it has no plans to launch the model outside of China.
