- Wash your hands with soap
Be very careful and wash your hands with soap and water. This is especially important in times of influenza when there is a high risk of it spreading.
Beware of dehydration, if you drink enough fluids, the mucus in the nose and throat will become looser and easier to eliminate. Focus on water and avoid drinks that reduce fluids, such as coffee.
- Suppress sore throat and cough with lozenges and medications
