Christian Gerdrum lives in Uddevalla in western Sweden. He was diagnosed with cancer about twelve years ago. Then he became very sad. Says P4 West It felt like he fell into a big hole. But a nurse helped him. He says she taught him to live with cancer.
– Yes, I felt like I fell into a big hole actually. It wasn’t very nice, but I was rescued by an older model nurse, who was very understanding and explained me what to do and what not to do.
Thus, a new survey shows that many More people have survived cancer than before. The Cancer Foundation conducted the survey. The Cancer Foundation is an organization that, among other things, raises money for cancer research. Christian Gerdrome says that I think health care is doing well. He feels a lot has improved since he started his treatment twelve years ago.
– Yes, it’s fantastically good. But I notice the difference by the time I get checked out and take care of these things that happen all the time, they are getting better and better, so that’s okay. He says I hope it will continue like this.
