Magdalena Andersson was supposed to congratulate Liz Truss – she went to the wrong person

Magdalena Anderson congratulated the new British Prime Minister on Twitter.

In return, I got a meatball answer.

It wasn’t Liz Truss who was greeted – but Liz Trussell.

He was elected on Monday Les TrussHe is 47 years old to become the new Prime Minister of Great Britain.

During the evening, Magdalena Anderson wrote her tribute:

“Congratulations to Liz Truss, who will become Prime Minister of Great Britain. Sweden and Great Britain will continue our deep and broad cooperation. They are important to our citizens, our economy and our security,” she wrote.

But it wasn’t Liz Truss who was tagged in the post – but someone named Liz Trussell.

Trussell’s response to Magdalena Anderson:

“I look forward to visiting soon! Get the meatballs ready! “

I got Liz right in the end

On Twitter, Liz Trussell goes by the username “liztruss”, while the real prime minister goes by the name “trussliz” instead.

The message lasted about half an hour before it was deleted and replaced with a congratulatory message to the “real” Truss.

“Honestly – you’ll do a better job.”

Magdalena Anderson wasn’t the only one who made the mistake on Monday.

Liz Trussell has received unexpected attention from many sides.

Caroline Lucas, the former leader of Britain’s Green Party, made the same mistake when she tweeted about the new prime minister.

Then she corrected herself, but added that Liz Trussell “frankly would probably do a better job”.

Other Twitter users are also suggesting that Liz Trussell should take over as prime minister.
