Samsung has started sending Android 12 and One UI 4 to the Galaxy S21 series. Thus, the company will be the first manufacturer to update a phone running Android 12 in addition to Google.
According to a blog post on Samsung, the Galaxy S21 series will be updated starting today, but Android 12 will likely be sent out in phases. An update is also underway for a number of other models.
No date has been set for the other S, Note and Z models, but Samsung wrote that more phones will be updated to Android 12 “soon.” Like Google’s variant of Android 12, Samsung introduces new customization options and interface coloring through panels.
The tech giant also mentions, among other things, the privacy improvements in Android 12, such as the system that signals every time the app uses the camera or microphone. Has anyone actually managed to get the update in Sweden?
One UI 4 enables you to create a customized mobile experience to meet your unique needs and express your personality. With a whole host of new color palettes to choose from, you can change the look and feel of everything from your home screen to icons, menu, buttons, and background.
