Wisma records new acquisition – in Gothenburg

Nordic software company Wisma has acquired another company. This time they landed in Gothenburg where fintech company Bokio is located.

Bokio offers automated and AI-driven accounting systems for small and medium enterprises and self-employed, and according to Wisma, the acquisition is a way to further strengthen its cloud offerings.

– Pokmon fit our mission perfectly. We love Pokோmon’s offer of company accounts, cards, accounting, payroll management, start-up assistance and continuous top-notch automation. Apart from this, Wisma can learn how Pokோmon works to help our own customers. We hope to be able to support both Bokio and their users by sharing our knowledge and resources, says Ari-Pekka Salovara, Head of SMB at Wisma.

Pokmon has more than 80 employees and users in Sweden and the United Kingdom. In 2021, the company’s software sales were SEK 12.8 million and the deal was approved by Finaninspektionen. Under the new owner, Bokio will continue to operate as its own company, on the same premises, with the same name and management as it does today.

– We are incredibly proud to be a part of Wisma. With this, we can move further up, to continue our strong growth curve. Through Wisma, we gain a lot of experience and expertise in all areas of imagination needed to move Pokக்கியmon forward and continue to grow, says Victor Stenson, CEO and co-founder of Bokio.
