Watch the first game of Darkest Dungeon 2

Get ready for the early access release tomorrow.

Tomorrow it’s finally time to embark on a hellish road trip and once again get a real hit in the dark caves. Darkest Dungeon 2 Then released early in the day Epic Games StoreAlmost six years after the first game came out. To get in the right mood, Red Hook Studios has released a new trailer, which also gives us the very first gameplay of the game.

As you can probably hear, it is Wayne John’s beautiful voice who plays the narrator – the same voice actor who was praised for his performance in the first game. But the thing that has changed is that the game has passed 2D to 3DBut without departing from the style of the first game. The battles also look the same, with characters lined up one by one, their location affecting the abilities they can use.

The journey of a horse and cart is also not a dance of roses, and it seems that we will have to take care of the mounds on the road, as well as make difficult decisions about which way to go. However, the cart can be upgraded to get various benefits, such as improving the ability to see upcoming nodes on the map you’re hiding.

In between sessions, hostels can be a real lifesaver in times of need, as we once again have to keep track of our characters’ stress levels so they don’t fall apart at the worst possible time.

Tomorrow, like I said, it’s time to launch Early Access, and it remains to be seen how long it will stay there before it’s ready for a sharp release.
