Its angular acceleration is optimized for smooth, powerful and turbocharged reaction with ultra-fast response time. No filters are applied to the effects the game conveys, for stunning realism and instant assimilation of important racing information. The design of the T818 has been optimized to truly take advantage of the full potential of Direct Drive Force Feedback technology. The specially designed motor takes into account the weight of the Thrustmaster wheel rims, and delivers a constant torque of 10 Nm, without saturation, to provide outstanding angular acceleration. The result: smooth, powerful, turbocharged power feedback that lets you feel the sensations of racing in the real world.

Uninterrupted power

The effects transmitted by the game are reproduced by the T818 without any filters, for an incredibly accurate and detailed reflection of the game developer’s true intentions. The more information you have at your fingertips, the better you can get to know every aspect of the vehicle you drive – including its limits. But be warned: Any mistakes you may make will be more costly. No one said driving at 125 mph / 200 km / h was easy.

Fixed release wheel attachment system

The T818 ushers in the new “Fast Release” wheel mount system: now you can swap out racing wheel rims in just 5 seconds, without any tools. The system is compatible with all next-generation Thrustmaster wheel rims, or rims equipped with a Quick Release adapter. When you’re competing, every gram counts: Made of aluminum and high-strength plastic, this system ensures a solid bond without adding any unnecessary weight, thus preserving the T818’s spindle mass.

Alignment with the past and the future

The T818 Racing Wheelbase is compatible with all wheel rims in the Thrustmaster racing ecosystem, thanks to the quick release adapter. Thrustmaster pedal assemblies, shifters and handbrake* are also 100% compatible. The T818 features an RJ45 port that will support a new type of ecosystem in the future.

DYNAMIC RGB LED LIGHTS

The RGB LEDs are designed in a hexagonal layout directly into the front of the T818. Create your own preferred lighting atmosphere by adjusting the colors and intensity of the LEDs. The LEDs can interact with the telemetry data sent by the game, giving you additional visual feedback. The list of compatible games and available functions is updated regularly on the Thrustmaster support site.

Customization and adaptability

Customize the look of your T818 with the interchangeable metal plates. 5 colors are available at launch, allowing you to easily switch between your styles. Using the four mounting points located on the underside of the T818, the Cockpit Mount Kit* and Desktop Mount Kit* allow you to easily adapt the T818 to fit your setup.
