For more than a year now, CD Projekt RED has been promising to update the modern classic The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and give the title a new look in terms of graphics and performance. The update was supposed to arrive as early as 2022, but has been delayed indefinitely. It’s now been revealed that the update will arrive in December, and during the livestream, CD Projekt Red is giving a first look at the changes.

With the changes also come new spec requirements, but at this time CD Projekt Red hasn’t revealed any details, other than that it will be introduced closer to the update’s release date.

In addition, the game received support for Nvidia and AMD DLSS 3 and FSR 2.1 upgrade technologies. The Witcher 3: Complete Edition will be available on December 14th. Anyone who already owns the game on PC, Xbox, or Playstation can access the upgraded version at no additional cost.
