Three sisters have inherited one of the best barn finds ever. Their father collected muscle cars and left behind an incredible treasure. Among the cars is a Camaro that has covered 70 miles and was used as a pace car in the Indy 500.
– We do not know what the future will be like, but he left us some treasures, says one of the sisters.
Car hunter Tom Cotter receives a startling tip about a car collection somewhere far back in the country upstate New York. When it gets there, it turns out to be an amazing collection of American muscle cars from several decades. The owner has just passed away and his three daughters have inherited about 40 cars.
“It was hell for the barn,” he says.
The interior of the barn exceeds the wildest expectations and contains stunning American cars from several eras. One of the newest cars is a Camaro from the 1980s that was used as a pace car during the Indy 500. The car has now been passed down to one of the man’s grandchildren.
Under the tarp is a 1967 Cadillac convertible in incredibly fine original condition. Car hunter Tom Cotter is so enamored with the car that he wants to buy it himself. This 1957 Oldsmobile Hardtop is neither. The Cadillac Coupe de Ville features absolutely stunning details, including a drop molding that folds down when the door is opened and an instrument panel that is a pure work of art.
The Camaro SS350 Cowl Induction is a very special car. The system can be compared to a simple type of turbo and is said to push cooler, denser air into the engine. Those who love rebuilt cars will find happiness in this 1957 Chevrolet drop top with a 396 V8. The collection doesn’t stop there, and anyone who loves American cars shouldn’t miss this cool movie trailer.
What will happen to the cars now is a bit unclear, but most of them will likely be sold. The collection should fetch a number of millions of kroner and the girls could have a major part of their future through their father’s amazing inheritance.
