Three events ready, Microsoft probably coming – who needs E3?
There won’t be E3 this year, but June will still include gaming events in the usual way. How much we’ll know in the spring, but two are already up and one of the biggest names – Microsoft – is rumored to also be up and running.

Grubb claims that Microsoft is in talks with “partners” to secure the big games for the Xbox show, which usually contains some game-heavy news and trailers. But remember – they are still common.

Both go off the rails on June 12th and promise about an hour of game news, trailers, and other game candy. The Geoff Keighley-led Summer Games Festival will also take place sometime in June.
So summer 2022 will definitely come to an end, although it’s still not clear how big it will be. In the past year, we’ve been able to enjoy E3-close streams from a wide range of gaming companies, including Microsoft, Ubisoft, Nintendo, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Gearbox, and Devolver. And EA, although they waited until July. Sony, on the other hand, was absent.
