Klarna wants to attract users to online shopping directly from the app. Therefore, they have now created a so-called “all-in-one” shopping app, where users can use Klarna’s various payment methods even in offline e-commerce merchants.
With our new app, Klarna has become a “one-stop” shopping service that caters to many needs, from inspiration to seamless post-purchase experiences. At the same time, we’ve made transparent and flexible payments possible everywhere because we believe no one should be paying credit card fees or interest rates that are too high, says Sebastian Simyatkowski, CEO of Klarna, in a press release.
In order for users to be able to shop even at electronic retailers who do not use Klarna, a one-time card is generated for the value of the current purchase. The information on the card is then copied and pasted at the time of payment.
Today’s people are looking for simplicity that meets their specific needs – in one place, provides a range of features and improves the shopping experience. Switching between apps is something consumers find more and more frustrating. By launching the new Klarna app, we can help more people save time and money and give them greater control over their finances, continues Sebastian Simyatkowski.
The app is available for download in 15 markets, including Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and France.
