The government has decided to ban entry into Sweden to prevent the virus, which causes COV-19, from being introduced into the country or spreading to other countries. From February 2021, the temporary entry ban will apply to entry from EU / EEA states and some other states. In June, the Swedish regulation was amended to the EU regulation on Kovid certificates, also known as Kovid certificates. This means that entry into Sweden from countries within the EU / EEA is prohibited unless a certificate of vaccination, a test certificate or a certificate equivalent to that obtained from COVIT-19 can be issued. The government has decided to extend this provision till January 31, 2022. Entry from Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway is not subject to any entry restrictions. The temporary ban on unwanted travel to Sweden from outside the European Union / EEA, introduced at the request of the Council of Europe and the Commission, has been in effect since March 2020.
