Team medals will be awarded in the European Championships

Team medals will be awarded in the European Championships

Wednesday: time jumped

Table C, time hop, (error converted to time). Open to teams and individual riders.

In the initial time jump it is important to be fast and preferably error free as errors are converted into extra seconds (4 seconds per impact) which are added to the total flight time.

The crew time is then converted into error points where the rider with the fastest time gets no errors, and the other riders get errors on an increasing scale.

Thursday: The team jumped the first round

160 jumps, one round, no jumping. Open to teams and individual riders.

Riders who only start individually ride first in reverse order from the list of hits from the time jump.

The teams are divided into two groups where teams are placed 11-15 after the start of the first day in the first group. Teams placed from 1 to 10 start in reverse order in the first group. The top three contestants on each team are counted.

Friday: The team jumped the second round

160 jumps, 1 round (new turn compared to Thursday). Open to the top 50 individual riders and the top 10 teams.

Individual riders start according to the reverse starting order. Bugs from the time jump and the first round of team jump are included.

The team starts according to the reverse starting order. Bugs from the time jump and the first round of team jump are included. The top three contestants for each team are counted. The team with the fewest fouls after the three seasons becomes European champion.

If many teams end up with the same number of fouls, jumping for medals is tough. Three contestants per team are counted in the jump.

Sunday: Round A and B singles finals

160 jumps over two different rounds (A and B).

The first round of the Singles Final (A) is open to the top 25 teams individually. Riders start in reverse order. Bugs from previous days’ rounds are included.

Round 2 (B) is open to the 12 best crews individually. Riders start in reverse order. Bugs from previous days’ rounds are included.

The team with the fewest fouls after all rounds (not including a potential jump in Friday’s team final) takes home the European Champion’s title. If many teams end up with the same number of fouls, jumping for medals is tough.
